From May 22nd to June 7th, 2018 the Sustainable Development Festival takes place in Italy: a national awareness-raising campaign launched by the Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development to promote and spread a culture of sustainability among the Italian society.

Among the hundreds of events organized in the context of the Festival, on May 28th the seminar “Imprese assicuratrici e contrasto al cambiamento climatico / Insurance companies and the fight against climate change” will take place in Milan.

The seminar is organized by Forum per la Finanza Sostenibile and Unipol, and will be the occasion for representatives from the insurance and financial world to share their views on the innovative role that insurance companies can play in managing climate risks.

Prof. Francesco Bosello, Director of the Economic analysis of Climate Impacts and Policy (ECIP) Division and coordinator of the COACCH project, takes part in the event with a speech on risk assessment and climate policies.
