COACCH took part to the webinar “Accounting for COVID-19 pandemic in climate policy modelling”, held on 17th June 2020 and organized by DG Research and Innovation and EASME. The webinar was organized for the exchange of information, encourage debate and spur cooperation between H2020 projects regarding accounting COVID-19 impacts within several climate change impact and policy assessment projects.

The event was intended to exchange information, encourage debate and spur cooperation between projects as regards accounting for COVID-19 impacts and has the following objectives:

  1. Share perspective and expectations from the Commission on the socio-economic and environmental analysis of COVID-19 impacts that could contribute to shaping of the EU follow up policies.
  2. Exchange information on ongoing and upcoming work of the projects on the socio-economic and environmental analysis of COVID-19 impacts.
  3. Exchanging experiences on topics that will be defined and prioritised together with the participants (i.e., focus groups) to get insights on current state of the art, and the need for future developments.
