COACCH project featured in the section “Economics of climate change adaptation” of the new booklet “Climate Change Adaptation Research, Science and Innovation – Informing decisions, providing solutions” by the Directorate-General for Research and Innovation of the European Commission. The EU-funded projects included in the booklet are those which responded positively to the request to re-align their objectives with those of the Paris Agreement and its 1.5°C/2°C goal. These projects have provided information on risks and impacts of global warming above 1.5°C/2°C and the costs and benefits of adaptation, informing decision-making and providing solutions to mitigate the impacts of climate change and improve the resilience of our societies. COACCH was selected for its aims to provide challenge-driven, solution-oriented and transparent knowledge on climate change impact and policy in Europe, to be used directly by different stakeholders, and to produce an improved assessment of the risks and costs of climate change.
